Job Description: - Enhance job knowledge and abilities by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training.
- Provide project assistance.
- Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy. Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.
- Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities. Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
- Attend work on a regular basis and support the company's employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
- Research and draft content for internal and external audiences, including newsletter articles, web copy, news releases, social media posts, etc.
- Proof reading for voice, accuracy and AP style
- Developing multimedia content including videos, social media graphics and gifs, etc.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: - Must be a college student, second year or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, English and/or a related field.
- Must have strong proofreading and editing skills; must be proficient in AP style.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience.
- Experience with social media marketing and digital advertising is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage and complete projects within tight deadlines.
- Must understand of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to plan, coordinate, shoot, edit and produce videos and other multimedia content is helpful.
