Tek One Solutions, is seeking an Access Control Technician to install and service commercial security, access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and configure/program access control, security, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television, camera systems, fire and other various security related systems.
• Evaluates, diagnoses, troubleshoots, re-configures, and tests equipment and devices associated and repairs as necessary.
• Assists on installation projects as needed.
• Performs service tasks required to fulfill service requirements.
• Read and understand drawings and prints to install the correct equipment in the correct locations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Preferred to have knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe and proper installation of alarm systems and devices.
• Must be able to read technical documents, drawings and prints.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical/electronic calculations.
• 2+ years working in electronics, basic electric circuit troubleshooting (working knowledge of Ohms law).
• Electronics and troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to climb ladders and carry a backpack of 50+ pounds unassisted.
