Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing and managing all incoming invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, maintaining vendor relationships, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify invoices and process daily through Ramp and NetSuite.
  • Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor files.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status, discrepancies, and other issues.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices.
  • Support the Finance team with additional accounting tasks as needed.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable role or similar accounting functions.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with Purchase Orders
  • Experience with Sales tax

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ramp and NetSuite.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing.
