Job Description

We are seeking an Actuary Analyst with healthcare experience for a direct hire/permanent role.

In this role, you will lead the actuarial analysis of existing and new commercial integrated care programs, along with:

• Analyzing drivers of program performance and communicate results to leadership team and internal stakeholders
• Applying actuarial underwriting principles to value-based contracting efforts, including baseline and trend calculations
• Reviewing and modeling medical claims and membership data received from external partners.
• Applying predictive models, researching health care industry trends, and developing executive-level presentations.
• Creating internal performance benchmarks and assist in actuarial process and capability development.
• Completing program financial and membership reconciliations and monitor developing program experience

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• At least two (2) years of relevant actuarial experience
• Successful completion of 2-4 SOA examinations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other applications
• Experience with SQL, JSON
• Healthcare experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven complex problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Tableau experience is nice to have, but not mandatory

Additional Information

This permanent/ direct hire role can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. This role will pay between $75,000- $110,000 per year and include an excellent benfits package.
