Job Description
Spherion is recruiting for a couple of Genesee County manufacturing companies that are seeking Off Shift Data Entry Operators! CURRENT OPENINGS ARE ON 2ND SHIFT. There are locations in Swartz Creek and Burton, MI. These are NOT REMOTE opportunities, but would require reporting to work each day at one of these facilities. Hours are 1st shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM- / 2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM OR 4PM-1:30AM / 3rd shift: 10:30PM - 7:00AM. Overtime on weekends is normal, so all interested applicants must ensure that they are available for full-time and overtime hours. Compensation is $16/hr. to start.
***Applicants must complete computer-based testing sent to them within a week of receiving it. Failure to do so will result in application being made inactive and no longer being considered for the role.
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer part numbers, supplier information and other data into customer inventory management system with 100% accuracy
- Data entry administrative functions in established computer programs
- Process shipping and receiving documents and input information from the bill of lading
- Dispatch orders and provide tags for customer part selection
- Process claims for misdirected parts and use the customer system to update claim information
- Conduct quality control checks for supplier compliance
- Full training is provided, no experience needed
Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs
- Clerical or data entry experience
Qualifications:
- Must complete computer-based testing with Spherion in order to be considered for this role. This includes a Data Entry and MS Excel assessment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
- This job requires the ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
