What will you do at BIP.Monticello:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Law Enforcement Investigator to support our efforts in identifying risks and red flags related to human trafficking, negative news exposure, open letters, and drug trafficking. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, with a solid background in investigative work and an understanding of criminal activities.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential risks related to human trafficking, drug trafficking, and other criminal activities.
  • Analyze information regarding negative news exposure and open letters associated with individuals or organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance strategies that promote transparency and accountability.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on investigative findings to enhance client safety and security measures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging threats related to human trafficking and drug-related crimes.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing investigation results, risk assessments, and compliance recommendations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expertise to strengthen their investigative and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Public Safety, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in AML investigations with a focus on identifying risks and flags associated with Human Trafficking, Drug Trafficking, Keep Open Letters, and Law Enforcement interaction with regards to AML investigations.
  • Strong background in law enforcement investigations, with a focus on human trafficking, drug trafficking, or related criminal activities as it relates to AML investigations.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify patterns and red flags in investigative data.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Proficient in using investigative tools, databases, and other resources to conduct thorough research and analysis.

**The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$125,000**
