AFNHA is seeking AmeriCorps members for conservation and/or cultural heritage related positions for the program year beginning September 2025. Positions are one year with a living stipend provided ($21,000). The Segal Education Award ($7,395) is granted to those that successfully complete the full year. Available position span across eastern West Virginia and provide support to local communities that focus on conservation, cultural heritage, education and outreach, among other activities. Members serve with a variety of sites including the National Forest, US Fish and Wildlife, historical societies, museums, visitor centers, and other non-profit organizations.
