A Snapshot of Your Day

The primary purpose of this position is to operate Macrodyne form press, blasting equipment, prepare / disassemble parts by using hand tools, grinding and operating mills/etc.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Operate miscellaneous machines like flow tester/spot welder / pressure tester.
• Perform dimensional dimension, operate furnaces, etc. Empty out PT lines.
• Willing to work in a dusty environment while blasting parts.

What You Bring

• Must have mechanical competence and pass an assessment to demonstrate capability of disassembly of part without damaging parent material. Capable of operating manual machines; mills, grit blasters, etc. Skilled at using hand tools such as air grinder, air hammers, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Obtain fork truck/crane license
• Ability to: use shop math, follow complex drawings, perform complex metrology
• Must be capable of wearing a respirator
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
