Assistant Property Manager (Onsite – Tucson, AZ)

Salary: $50,000 per year

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Property Manager to join our Tucson team and oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including retail, office, and industrial spaces.

This is an onsite position based at our corporate office, where you’ll operate much like a small business owner—coordinating tenant relations, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring properties are running smoothly and efficiently.

Our portfolio is over 25 properties with an aggregate occupancy of approximately 96% . The Property Manager will be the main point of contact between tenants, vendors, and field staff, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations for a portfolio of 25+ commercial properties (approximately 250 tenants).
  • Collect rent and monitor tenant accounts.
  • Oversee work order systems and respond to tenant inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor and contractor work, including landscaping, roofing, and other property repairs.
  • Review and approve property-related bills and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal team members.

(Note: This role does not include CAM reconciliations, AP/AR, or bookkeeping responsibilities.)

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in property management (commercial or residential).
  • Active Arizona Real Estate License required.
  • Proficiency in MRI , Yardi , or similar property management software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with contractors and vendors.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-driven.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
