Government Contracts Associate Attorney - Washington DC

Our client, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate to join its Corporate group in their Washington, DC office.

The estimated salary range for this position is $230,000 - $270,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of meaningful experience in the area of government contracts
• Strong focus on federal and state bid protests, including GAO, COFC, and agency-level forums, claims experience under the Contract Disputes Act, and counseling matters under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other agency supplements
• Experience with legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in all phases of protests, claims and other government-related litigation, as well as advising contractors on government compliance matters
• Experience with US Government grants and cooperative agreements is also preferred
• Excellent writing and analytical skills
• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Must be a member in Good Standing with the Washington DC Bar
