Job Description

The BI App Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence (BI) solutions that translate data into meaningful insights. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to enhance existing solutions, develop predictive analytics, and optimize data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience with programming languages, database management, and data visualization tools.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Analyze, design, develop, document, test, and deploy BI solutions.
* Translate data into meaningful operational insights.
* Enhance and support existing BI solutions.
* Translate business needs into technical specifications.
* Develop engaging visualizations and reports for various projects.
* Maintain and support the analytics platform.
* Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analyses.
* Create and maintain technical documentation.
* Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Deliver analytical insights through BI tools and collaborative efforts.
* Build relationships across teams to bring solutions to life.
* Collaborate with analytical teams to develop predictive solutions.
* Partner with internal departments to understand trends and business impacts.
* Develop innovative solutions to enhance supply chain services.
* Advocate for data-driven decision-making and product development.
* Support the development of optimization reporting and analytics.
* Document project plans, process flows, and key metrics.
* Communicate project progress, facilitate meetings, and escalate issues as needed.
* Engage with customers to identify and prioritize analytical opportunities.
* Support customer account base, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
* Translate and communicate complex concepts into professional presentations.
* Develop and maintain custom reports using business knowledge.
* Guide new report creation as a subject matter expert.
* Utilize BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau for reporting and analysis.
* Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
* Perform other duties as assigned based on team or regional requirements.

Required:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum of 2 years of analytics experience developing business solutions using comprehensive data assets.
* Intermediate knowledge and practical experience with programming languages, specifically Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and SQL.

Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
* Experience in logistics and supply chain industries.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong familiarity with the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of data integrity, testing, and validation.
* Experience working with product teams in an iterative development environment.
* Positive and collaborative working style.
* Strong communication skills across multiple mediums.
