Department Overview

The Billing Operations Exceptions department is responsible for providing timely and accurate bills to our customers, resolving customer-initiated requests and maintaining various customer programs. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, knowledgeable individual to join our team and be a part of PG&E’s customer-centric Billing Operations organization.

Position Summary

Conducts research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.​

A reasonable salary range is:​

California Minimum: $​108,000

California Maximum: $​173,000

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee work management to ensure timely processing of billing exceptions.
• Perform analysis on complex data models requiring customized reports and data.
• Manage small to mid-size projects.
• Act as subject matter expert in Salesforce management and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes within the department.
• Present findings and make recommendations to management or others within the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Job-related experience, 6 years
• CC&B Billing Knowledge
• Salesforce WFM Knowledge
• Knowledge of LEAN concepts and applicability

• Strong technical / computer skills
• Knowledge of SOX and Compliance requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard Microsoft tools (e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
