Overview:

Elastic, powered by Emerald, is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing software sales team. Elastic works with the worlds most iconic retail brands including Burton, Patagonia, The North Face, Vans, and more to enhance their 365 digital commerce capabilities through our globally-adopted B2B SaaS ecommerce platform. Our products live in a quickly expanding and evolving space, and were actively pursuing growth to best support our core audiences.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for supporting and generating opportunities for the Elastic platform. This is a high-volume sales focused role where youll qualify global opportunities and leads with custom messaging via email, over the phone, and through social media. You will work closely and cross-functionally with our Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, and Technical Services Teams as you manage and drive the global Elastic sales pipeline.

We have team members based in Denver, CO and Barcelona, Spain but candidates can be based anywhere in the US for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and discover leads to develop new business opportunities
  • Qualify new prospects
  • Support Sales in scheduling demos and technical discovery calls
  • Maintain prospects and opportunities in Salesforce CRM to manage our pipeline
  • Share prospect and customer feedback with our development team to improve product offering
  • Attend occasional industry specific trade shows to build brand awareness and generate sales qualified opportunities

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of demonstrated success in generating and engaging lead generation, preferably with a software / SaaS or similarly technical product
  • Comfort working with complex digital tools and technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM / Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel
  • Bi-lingual (with focus on Spanish, French, Italian or German) is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $65,000- $68,000 (Sales Incentive Eligible)

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidates qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
