Job Description Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting all Business Office personnel with daily administrative tasks primarily involving financial recordkeeping. This is a year-round position.

Duties & Responsibilities: Financial Recordkeeping - Funds Collection - Properly record and apply fund receipts using generally understood accounting principles and appropriate internal controls. Prepare cash deposits. Enter all cash/check/credit card/wire deposits in the accounting system with accurate coding. Process all donations received from Development, maintaining confidentiality.
- Monthly Reconciliation - Reconcile petty cash and aid in the reconciliation of the Operating bank account per reporting deadlines. Cross trained on the bank account reconciliation process with the Director of Accounting.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Functions - Act in a supporting, cross-trained role for all basic accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Communication - Serve as the business office representative at calendar meetings and coordinate school events and absences with the food service provider. Serve as the point of contact for vendor communication.
Filing & Supply Management - Maintain business office filing system including annual document archiving and deposit records. Order and maintain business office supplies.
Caf Regents - Act as the liaison between the school and the school's third-party food service provider. Serve as the administrator for student lunch accounts and assist with collections as necessary.
Administrative Support - Provide administrative support to other departments as your schedule allows. This would include serving at the front reception desk or assisting with special events or projects.
Working Conditions Benefits eligible, twelve-month working schedule with paid school holidays and vacation in accordance with Employee Handbook and supervisor's approval of absences as follows:
40 hours per week
Experience and Skills Experience & Skills - Lifestyle and convictions demonstrate a Christian worldview
- Prior experience in a business office environment
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and skills
- Experience using multiple software application, accounting systems preferred
- Experience using Google Drive, proficiency preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, as required
- Proven excellence in oral and written communications
- Energetic, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
- Flexibility to multi-task with the demands of changing priorities
- A team player with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
- Customer service oriented

Job Benefits Salary will be commensurate with experience. Full benefits are available for this position. 40 hours per week beginning in the office no later than 7:45am in order to manage "before school" preparations with families and employees. Additional time can be allotted for "peak week" work with prior approval from Head of School of Logic. Vacation and time off as approved by Head of School of Logic in accordance with Employee Handbook and Employment Agreement.
