Job Title: Business Office Facilitator (Medical Billing/Admin Specialist)

Location : Monroe Township, NJ (On-site daily)

Industry : Senior Living / Long-Term Care

Pay : $60,000 - $62,000 / Annually

Our client is a well-established senior living organization with a strong reputation for resident care and operational stability. They invest heavily in onboarding and training, which requires individuals with strong commitment and long-term work ethic. This opening is a backfill and has been open for just over a month.

Job Description:

This position functions as a Medical Billing/Administrative Specialist within the business office. The role supports billing, AR, collections, resident communication, and occasional reception coverage. It requires a customer-service-driven professional who can work directly with residents and families regarding billing matters and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medical billing, AR, and collections
• Resolve billing discrepancies and assist residents/families with payment questions
• Provide general guidance related to Medicare/Medicaid processes
• Ensure reception coverage; may occasionally support front desk
• Complete ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
• Support site leadership with business office operations
• Utilize MyUnity system (training provided)

Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing, AR, or collections
• Long-term care background strongly preferred; open to hospital/other healthcare
• Stable work history (no job-hopping — a key requirement)
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid
• Competence with MS Office , email, and ability to learn new systems
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation
• Customer-service-oriented with the ability to balance persistence and empathy

Additional Details:

• Schedule options: 8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30 (½-hour unpaid lunch)
• Likely one weekend day per month
• Robust, hands-on training provided
