Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven Category Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time, work from home position based in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you’ll use your strategic mindset and data analysis expertise to drive sales and profitability in the assigned product categories at Walmart. You will work directly with the Walmart Merchandising team to optimize assortments and space utilization. You will work with tools such as Walmart Scintilla, JDA Space Planning, Nielsen and more to help enhance category performance.

Responsibilities:

• Working directly with Walmart to develop and execute category growth strategies.
• Develop, present, and execute strategies that enhance sales, profitability, and market share
• Utilize tools like Walmart Scintilla, Circana/Nielsen, and JDA Space Planning to identify opportunities for category expansion and optimization
• Provide category reporting, analytics, decision support, and special project work to Walmart merchants
• Analyze market trends, conduct opportunity gap analyses, and collaborate with Walmart's merchandising team to optimize assortments and space utilization
• Utilize space management technologies to build and implement modular resets that enhance the shopper experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in a Category Advisor role
• Expertise in Scintilla, JDA Space Planning, Nielsen and more.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Must reside in the Northwest Arkansas area
