Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Chief of Staff to partner with our CEO and help drive operational success across all areas of the business. This role is perfect for a jack-of-all-trades who is comfortable wearing many hats and thrives in fast-paced environments. You will take on a variety of tasks ranging from onboarding new chefs, launching community initiatives, streamlining internal processes, and more. Your goal is to ensure seamless operations so the CEO can focus on strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee and streamline day-to-day operations, including onboarding processes for new chefs and employees.
    • Manage operational projects, such as launching Eat Cook Joy initiatives for moms, non-profits, and other community-focused ventures.
    • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and other metrics to track company performance and progress.
  • Project Management
    • Lead special projects that require cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Coordinate product and service launches, new market entries, and strategic partnerships.
    • Implement processes and systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall workflow.
  • People Operations
    • Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
    • Build a strong team culture by organizing team-building activities and fostering open communication across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, business management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an operational, project management, or Chief of Staff role, preferably in a startup.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in G Suite, project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana), and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Passion for food and our mission to make healthy delicious food an affordable reality
