Title - HEDIS Coordinator
Shift - 8 Am- 5 PM EST| Monday-Friday | (lunch-noon-1pm)
As project volume increases, OT will be required with OT pay (flexible with OT hours worked with prior approval)
Location - Remote
Core responsibilities include:
Will be working the HEDIS project which measures performance and effectiveness of care by providers/provider groups. Abstracting from Medical records for certain information.
Training will be provided.
Enter data into a specific program. Will work with multiple systems.
Education/Certification Required:
Bachelor s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of quality improvement or healthcare related experience. Working knowledge of the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA).
Software Skills Required:
Word, Microsoft office; excel
Required Skills:
Basic Excel and Basic Word
EMR and medical record review experience (can be within medical office)
Can be flexible with workload and can adapt to daily change
Preferred Skills:
Customer service and great communication skills
Quick learner
Must be knowledgeable of technology
HEDIS requirements preferred
