**applicants must be local to AZ to apply as this position is hybrid ONSITE in Gilbert 2x per week**
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in cloud enterprise systems or security engineering
- 5+ years of Enterprise Multi Cloud Network Design, Administration, and Automation including Firewall Security.
- Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN/SD-WAN architecture and design
- Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems, Intrusion Prevent Systems, and Firewall configuration.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure design and services.
- Experience with security best practices and procedures for safeguarding systems/data, including Disaster Recovery
- Experience with Multi Cloud Virtual Stack Security Administration, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and ISP connectivity
- Automation experience using Infrastructure as code
- Understanding of CCOE Concepts and strategies
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, or closely related field. However, a non-technical degree can be acceptable if complemented with the appropriate certifications and/or experience
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level guidance, training, and formal cloud architecture, standards, and strategy.
- Offer technical leadership for both private and public cloud-based infrastructure, services, and integrations.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services, with proficiency in Azure.
- Develop cloud strategies and design scalable and secure cloud environments.
- Support both on-premises networking and cloud infrastructure services.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud deployments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to maintain compliance and protect against threats.
- Analyze, design, install, configure, and maintain the Town’s cloud network and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, IPS/IDS equipment, VPN, and wireless equipment.
- Design, evaluate, and recommend IT solutions.
- Write RFPs, Scope of Work, and create technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain cloud standards, solutions, and architecture in conjunction with the IT Leadership team’s cloud strategy.
- Collaborate with development, engineering, security, and networking teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Build, design, deploy, maintain, and lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud offerings and departments.
- Create, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud infrastructure, systems, resources, networks, and other cloud services to support Town of Gilbert infrastructure.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Manage requests for new technology, establish a secure cloud environment, and ensure appropriate availability and reliability of cloud services.
- Provide ongoing support for specific cloud-based enterprise infrastructure systems and applications.
- Implement infrastructure automation using code and tools.
Compensation:
$90-135k per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
