Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe is currently hiring for a
part-time Coffee Shop Barista to provide great customer service while creating tasty beverages for our guests in the
Leander, TX area. This part-time position in the food service industry earns a
competitive wage plus tips, depending on experience and availability
, with a total earning potential of $16-$19/hour .

DAY-TO-DAY This part-time job has a
flexible schedule and works Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 6 AM - 8:00 PM, and Sunday 7 AM - 6 PM. Weekend availability is a must!

As a Coffee Shop Barista, you love to make each guest's day! You warmly greet customers as they arrive, taking their orders with a smile. Knowledgeable about our extensive menu, you're happy to provide exceptional customer service by offering recommendations when asked. You easily persuade guests to try our special recipes, including Lavender Love (a latte that pairs white chocolate with lavender) and Oatmeal Cookie (a latte featuring brown sugar, cinnamon, and caramel flavors). You take pride in crafting delicious beverages, including espresso, tea, and smoothies. Attentive to detail, you ensure each item is made according to specifications and served as quickly as possible. You then ring up the order using our point of sale (POS) system, processing customer payments and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Our coffeehouse also features delectable grab-and-go foods such as pumpkin muffins, chocolate croissants, and turkey sandwiches. You're pleased that you have the opportunity to cross-train and learn basic food prep techniques. Throughout your shift, you stock and replenish products and make sure the shop is sanitary and tidy.

ABOUT PERKY BEANS COFFEE & PB CAFE From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A COFFEE SHOP BARISTA - 18+ years of age
- Customer service experience
- Willingness to be cross-trained in food prep techniques•
- Current Food Handler Certificate
- Current TABC Certificate
