Established in 1989, Environmental Construction, Inc. is a general engineering construction company located in Los Angeles, CA. Primarily focusing on public works, Environmental Construction is engaged in building public works projects in Southern California. We specialize in the following markets: (1) water and wastewater improvements, (2) athletic complexes and fields, (3) parks and recreation, (4) landfill gas collection systems, and (5) general site improvements. ECI is presently seeking experienced estimators to join our estimating department. Candidates with experience in Civil estimating will be preferred. Additionally, candidates with HCSS Heavy Bid software experience are preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Los Angeles, CA for a Civil Construction Estimator. The Civil Construction Estimator will be responsible for performing quantity take-offs and managing subcontractor and vendor proposals. The Estimator will also communicate effectively with various stakeholders and ensure the accuracy of project bids.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
  • Experience in Cost Management and Budgeting
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates
  • Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with public works projects is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant construction software is beneficial
