You'll be working in a client facing role to support the firms middle office stakeholders and provide tremendous value to individuals in the treasury and operations department. Your involvement will be crucial in developing solutions that facilitate seamless management of their trading lifecycle and after trade execution. It's a unique role in the sense that you'll work directly with the stakeholders to understand what their problems or needs are, and then actually go and build them solutions with an emphasis on automation, efficiency, and data integration. If you're passionate about solving problems, optimizing processes, and working in fast-paced environments to deliver real business value then this should be right up your alley.
You'll leverage a full stack of technologies to implement innovative solutions in C# and .Net and rely heavily on various SQL language dialects and principles of relational design. On the front-end, it's really important that you've been working hands-on with React as that's their primary front-end tool used internally. Having skills with Python or even distributed computing experience in Spark will also give you an edge upon joining the firm. It's critical that you're experienced working in the financial sector, ideally you'll have worked to serve middle or back office teams in hedge funds or asset management firms previously.
This is a long-term contract engagement that'll require you to work in their midtown manhattan headquarters 3x per week (M/F is WFH). They're willing to pay up to $1300 daily for the right consultant.
