Job Title: Customer Service Support (Onsite – Part Time)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: Cumberland, RI (Onsite, 5 days/week)

• Call center environment, but this is a support role only (no phone calls).

Position Summary:

Support administrative tasks in a healthcare/call center setting, focusing on patient and prescription records (HIPAA compliant). No call-taking required; role emphasizes data entry, support, and coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process patient and prescription info in compliance with HIPAA
• Data entry in internal systems (training provided)
• Process and organize mail, correspondence, and receipts
• Verify/re-verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, 3rd party)
• Maintain accurate documentation for patient accounts and referral sources
• Support patient services, supplies, and insurance needs
• Work independently while meeting accuracy/productivity goals
• Assist in resolving patient or insurance-related issues as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year customer service or call center experience (healthcare/insurance preferred)
• Strong data entry and computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, or medical terminology a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask
• Effective and empathetic communication
• Safety-sensitive, able to work independently

Work Environment:

• Part-Time, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Onsite only (no remote option)
• Supportive, professional office setting
