POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the daily administration and support of security systems and services. Assists with the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new security tools. Monitors security related advisories, bulletins, and events and responds appropriately.

• Evaluate and maintain compliance with required security frameworks and regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain patch management platform to ensure successful delivery of required software updates.
• Administer email security systems and adjust policies as needed.
• Evaluate and implement security tools and services as needed to maintain security posture.
• Monitor and maintain endpoint protection systems and respond to incidents.
• Manages web filtering security systems and monitor web usage.
• Evaluate and deliver security related training information.

• Travel to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required.
• Regular and reliable attendance in person as required by your Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Always wears a hard helmet and other appropriate personal protective equipment in the field.
• Meets schedules and deadlines, adheres to policies and procedures and maintains a good attendance/tardiness record.
• Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional and efficient handling of issues.
• Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting others to accomplish work of the organization, even if it is outside the scope of regular duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Writes routine reports and correspondence.
• Speaks effectively before employees.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Computes rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions.
• Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Organizes and manages time, duties and activities efficiently.
• Utilizes Microsoft Office-based applications and project management software systems appropriate for this role.

Education and Experience

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Microsoft Windows 10/11 experience required.
• Microsoft Windows Server experience required.
• Apple MacOS experience desired.
• Knowledge of CIS Controls and/or NIST CSF required.
• Patch management experience required.
• Proofpoint experience desired.
• Cisco Umbrella experience desired.
• Microsoft Defender experience desired.
