Job Description

Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a Dental start up company located in downtown Denver, CO in their search for a Dental Revenue Cycle Manager. This is a Hybrid, Direct Hire opportunity, paying $75k - $85k per year.

Overview:
The right candidate will provide strategic planning, leadership skills and ongoing quality and process improvement for revenue associated with operating activities. You will report directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager Director and oversee a remote Revenue Cycle team. This leadership position requires a thorough understanding of revenue operations, insurance verification, billing best practices, compliance regulations, credentialing, and team support. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue collection while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and enhancing overall department performance. This role will require you to provide regular reports and analysis to executive leadership to drive business strategies and objectives. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm; Hybrid: 1-2 days remote 

Responsibilities:

The Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the team including but not limited to:
  • Monitoring team performance & quality, and supporting them to consistently reach KPIs (key performance indicators) 
  • Working with team members to ensure accurate and timely billing, and reach 90% of accrual collections at 4 weeks after production, and insurance DSO average of 20 days or less 
  • Helping support offices patient A/R collection process, to achieve an average of 30 DSO
  • Working with insurance payment posting team to achieve a 98%+ posting rate daily 
  • Managing third-party vendors to maximize their results and guarantee expected outcome 
  • Analyzing reports and KPIs to take action to improve or maintain results 
  • Identifying areas of improvement in current processes, recommend & implement solutions, to streamline the workflow and enhance efficiency and productivity. 
  • Maintaining SOP up to date. 
  • Supporting office team members with side projects as needed and working with RCM team to successfully achieve expected results. 
  • Providing excellent customer service to all team members, including offices, and achieve a minimum of 4/5 score or higher from weekly satisfaction surveys 
  • Leadership and guidance to the team members 
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment 
  • Strengthening communication flow between RCM and Operations

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of dental revenue cycle management experience
  • 5+ years of dental office management experience
  • Experience leading remote and/or on-site teams
  • Extensive knowledge of dental insurance verification, claim submission, collections, patient A/R management, credentialing, payor relations, and team leadership
  • Proficiency in dental coding and terminology
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, leadership, and process improvement
