• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related
• 7 years' experience in Quality Operations within FAA environment and 3 years' supervisory
• Strong Knowledge FAA and AS9100 requirements and audits

FULL DESCRIPTION : The Quality Assurance Director provides a high level of leadership and support of quality personnel. Will incorporate processes for the assurance that products are procured, designed, manufactured, tested and shipped in accordance with customer and in-house requirements.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage Corporate Quality centers: Irvine, Pasadena and Sacramento
• Managing supervisor for the receiving inspection areas.
• Managing supervisor for in-process inspections.
• Manage and monitor quality systems.
• Implement and revise procedures and support process improvement teams.
• Responsible for calibration lab and retaining calibration recall system.
• Attend in-house and customer meetings regarding product quality issues.
• Plan and schedule quality control personnel task assignments.
• Manage for AS 9100 approval process
• Regularly collect and analyze failure reports
• Maintain PMA and TSO status for all required parts
• Manage CAR process timeliness, completeness, and accuracy
• Maintain corporate vendor approval segments
• Implement & manage FAA part 145 program
• Other duties as assigned.

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 4-year accredited college degree
• 7 years plus working experience in Quality or Manufacturing Operations in an FAA environment
• 5 years of supervisory experience
• FAA seminars
• Understanding of FAA and AS9100 requirements
• Intermediate computer skills required. PC Windows environment
• 5 years of supervisory experience

Salary Range: $115k-$130k/yr
