Job Description

We are seeking a talented Chief of Staff to support our client, a leading music industry executive in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates will be discreet, sharp, and intuitive to oversee both personal and professional operations. This role is a true combination of EA, PA, and House Management. Candidates with prior experience within the entertainment and or music industry will be prioritized. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a lovely executive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Operations: Serve as the connective tissue between various teams, both personal and professional, ensuring alignment and timely follow-through.
  • Calendar & Schedule Management: Own the executive’s calendar across personal and professional obligations; proactively manage time, energy, and access.
  • Prioritization & Decision Support: Act as a filter, helping the executive focus on what’s essential; anticipate needs before they arise.
  • Team & Staff Liaison: Manage and coordinate with executive and personal staff, ensuring everyone is aligned and resourced.
  • Travel & Event Oversight: Coordinate complex travel with ease, efficiency, and deep experience. Able to problem-solve travel difficulties with ease and care.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass an in-depth background check and provide excellent references.
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure, be unflappable, and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Must exercise emotional intelligence, discretion, and good judgment.
  • Must be highly professional as well as personable.
  • Must be a team player, deeply loyal and committed to the long game - someone who thrives in service of a bigger vision.
  • Must be tech-savvy, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role supporting a high-level executive, ideally in entertainment, music, or media.
  • Must have strong operational and communication skills.
  • Available for occasional travel and non-traditional hours as needed.

Location:

Los Angeles, CA.

Schedule:

Primarily onsite Monday - Friday. Position will work between the office and the executive's home. Standard business hours, flexibility as needed.
