Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Associate

ABOUT US

ELLIS BROOKLYN is a clean and eco, award-winning fragrance line carried at Sephora, Ulta, Credo, and international retailers like Mecca and Space NK. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Associate for our fast-growing beauty company! This role will provide leadership and execution of across our ecommerce channels (website, Amazon and TikTok shop). This role is accountable for driving sales and profitability through digital marketing, merchandising, data and analytics, user experience, and site operations. This is a cross functional role working with internal creative and marketing teams as well as managing external agencies, while executing day-to-day online operations of the e-commerce platforms.

Please note this position is in-office 4 days a week with Fridays remote.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Key Responsibilities

REPORTING : Gathering and reporting on KPIs daily, weekly and monthly. Managing site and google analytics. Presenting a monthly ecommerce overview to senior management. 

CALENDAR MANAGEMENT : Managing ecommerce & promotional calendar aimed towards hitting revenue goals as well as delivering rewarding and seamless experience for customers.

SITE MANAGEMENT & OPTIMIZATION: Adding, uploading, and creating product pages. Creating, testing and launching promotions. Managing all site integrations and apps. Optimizing site experience for improved conversion rate.

EMAIL & SMS MARKETING : Managing creative briefs, building and scheduling email and SMS campaigns.

PAID MEDIA: Managing creative briefs, tracking spend, revenue and core KPIs for Paid Social, Paid Search and Google Shopping. Assisting with the management of the digital marketing agency for a best-in-class ecommerce paid media strategy.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION : Continuously optimizing content and copy for search engine favorability

AMAZON : Assisting in the management of amazon seller central.

LOGISTICS : Collaborating with the operations team to ensure site orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and website stock is always healthily maintained.

UPDATES : Staying up to date with the newest ecommerce features, functionality and trends. Recommending updates as needed. 

Additional qualifications

· Ability to execute.

· Be comfortable in ambiguity/startup/lean ways of working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

· Key strength in data-driven analytics.

· Beauty industry experience highly preferred.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience leading e-commerce operations, with a background in managing rapid growth in a DTC business.
• Experience with Shopify as well as key supporting technology and marketplace platforms like Klaviyo and SMS marketing software
• Amazon marketplace experience
• Tiktok Shop experience preferred.
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and executes with a sense of ownership.
• Highly collaborative, self-aware, enthusiastic and passionate.

• Salary range $65,000-75,000. Note, the actual salary is highly dependent on the candidate's qualifications.
