Morrison Container Handling Solutions, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician (Panel Builder) to join our busy production team. In this role, you’ll assemble and wire industrial control panels, working hands-on with our innovative equipment. Job responsibilities:

• Assemble, build, and wire industrial control panels
• Identify components using electrical schematics and bills of material
• Drill, tap, punch, and cut holes in sheet metal and machine framing to mount panel and machine components
• Route machine cabling and terminate connections in electric motors, transformers, junction boxes and control devices
• Print labels and tag all wires, cables, devices, and equipment neatly and properly

Qualifications required:

• 3+ years of experience reading electrical schematics and working with and around industrial machinery
• Previous experience wiring 3-phase electrical equipment
• Exposure to mechanical machine assembly
• Attention to detail
• Attitude: Strong desire to succeed as part of a team; interest in contributing to positive company culture; willingness to persist until the job is done right for the customer and embrace the Morrison “Support Built In” philosophy
• Communication and Problem-Solving: the ability to identify problems and review related information with colleagues and customers to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Computer Skills: the ability to navigate and use a desktop computer, including internet browsers, email, Microsoft Dynamics, word processing, and spreadsheets

Qualifications preferred

• Experience in the maintenance field repairing and upgrading industrial controls
• PLC troubleshooting
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Experience with valve and manifold assemblies
