Job Title: Solar Electrician (5-7 Years Experience)

Location: On-Site – Phil Campbell, Alabama

Pay: $28–$30 per hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solar Electrician to join our growing team in Phil Campbell, AL. This is an on-site role with a reputable solar energy provider (company name confidential) offering long-term career growth and competitive compensation. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hands-on electrical experience in solar installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring full compliance with NEC, local codes, and project specifications.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending, inverter setup, and system commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in residential, commercial, and/or utility-scale solar systems.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance work.

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience as an electrician, preferably with a strong focus on solar PV systems.
• Valid electrician’s license (or equivalent certification) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops.
• Must have own hand tools and reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• NABCEP Certification (not required but a strong plus).
• Prior experience with grid-tied and battery backup solar systems.
