Job Description

An Engineering CAD Designer will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to support the civil engineering team by creating plans and profiles at various stages of the design process.

Essential Functions

• Design plans for residential developments and commercial site plans varying in size
• Provide grading concepts, stormwater management, intersection details, earthwork calculations, permit drawings, and industry and project-specific detailing
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned projects

Required Education and Experience

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of site civil construction plan preparation related to stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water main details

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Physical Demands

This position is largely sedentary. An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, and hear.
