ENTREPRENEUR IN RESIDENCE (EIR) , LEGATUM CENTER , Sloan School of Management , will act as an overall Advisor to the Legatum Center Global Initiatives and Fellowships team and as a mentor and coach to both the Student and Foundry Fellows at the Center; be available for MIT students more broadly; provide mentorship, program experimentation, and cross-campus collaboration; work with the Center team to develop a new curriculum for our bootcamps that focus on growth stage entrepreneurs; and work closely with the Executive Director of the Legatum Center, and the Legatum Director of Fellowships and Global Initiatives to enhance students' academic and extracurricular experiences related to entrepreneurship.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience; excellent command of written and spoken English; excellent cross-cultural communication, networking, and negotiation skills; experience as a founder or CEO of a startup with strong links in growth markets; willingness to openly share successes and failures with students in the educational process; robust motivation and willingness to bridge-build across campus to ensure MIT students are taking full advantage of the rich set of resources available to them and identifying and filling in gaps where needed; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; proven background in innovation, entrepreneurship and identifying scalable ideas and developing plans to roll out as widely and broadly as possible. This is a 20 hour a week term position that is benefits eligible.

Salary range: $97,150 - $129,895 - $162,640, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. New hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
