Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our Chicago team. This role involves supporting internal and external communication efforts, ensuring seamless operations, and contributing to the company’s success by enhancing our communication strategies.

Salary :$19.50 - $30.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and distributing internal memos, client correspondence, and other communication materials.
• Provide administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling, organizing files, and managing communication logs.
• Help coordinate company events, meetings, and community engagements.
• Maintain and update records, databases, and contact lists to ensure accurate and efficient communication.
• Collaborate with team members to gather information and draft clear, concise reports or presentations.
• Monitor and compile data to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
