Job Description
Bimbo QSR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support all maintenance activities at our commercial bakery facility in Denver, CO. This role plays a critical part in ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee maintenance operations for a fast-paced commercial baking plant
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical maintenance issues to minimize downtime
- Champion a zero-injury culture by enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Manage plant maintenance programs and ensure all team members are equipped for success
- Plan and execute capital improvement projects
- Supervise and develop maintenance team members, including conducting performance appraisals
- Use CMMS tools to track performance metrics and drive process improvements
- Administer safety and environmental programs related to maintenance operations
- Develop and implement technical training for the maintenance team
- Establish short- and long-term department goals and manage budget/cost controls
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Technical Degree preferred (Electrical or Mechanical focus)
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Hands-on knowledge in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and building maintenance
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, CMMS, email)
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Working knowledge of bakery operations and production equipment (preferred)
- Solid understanding of maintenance and safety best practices
- Proficiency in English (bilingual is a plus)
