Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on F-16 aircraft systems including navigation, communications, radar, and electronic warfare systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on avionics systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify malfunctions in avionics components and systems.
• Perform system calibrations and adjustments as needed to maintain operational readiness.
• Work on the flight line to ensure timely and efficient turnarounds of F-16 aircraft.
• Collaborate with other maintenance teams to resolve complex avionics issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with FAA and military standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues under time-sensitive conditions to support flight operations.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and military regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Avionics Technician on F-16 aircraft, with a focus on flight line operations.
• F-16 experience is required
• Air Force- Level 7 F-16 Avionics Technician experience, or equivalent military experience.
• In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including radar, communications, navigation, and electronic warfare systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components and systems using specialized equipment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, flight line environment, with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other maintenance personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
