Job Description

FACILITIES COORDINATOR:

Global Foundation is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team! This position will work closely with onsite operations staff including Reception, Security, Food Services and Events teams regarding special events and vendor management. With advance notice, off-hours support will be needed at times, including weekends.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with Facilities related projects and issues including performing repairs such as door alignment and adjustments, lockset adjustments, furniture assembly and repair, file cabinet adjustments, touch up painting and making the decision on when vendor assistance is needed
  • Daily building site walks and documenting maintenance/repair issues inside and outside of the building
  • Contact vendors for emergency repairs to various furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Coordinate scheduling of system maintenance programs on a Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-Annual/Annual including, but not limited to HVAC system, plumbing system, elevator, kitchen/pantry equipment, generator, UPS system, fire alarm system, cistern system, Lutron lighting/shade system
  • Assist with event planning, including set up and breakdown of heavy furniture
  • Assist and coordinate internal moves and space quality issues
  • Knowledge of local laws pertaining to energy conservation
  • Oversee small to medium-size projects with external vendors, specifying the solution needed to resolve issues, solicit quotes and making recommendations to the Operations team on the best solution

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in corporate facilities, site operations, or project coordination with jack-of-all-trades capabilities
  • Availability to work weekends as needed or work a flexible schedule
  • Previous experience working in professional or corporate business environments; ability to work in high-pressure environment a must
  • Bachelors’ degree is a plus
  • Solid PC skills including Microsoft Office
  • Some exposure to or experience with state-of-the-art mechanical & electrical systems such as HVAC, BMS, Boiler, Lutron lighting controls, Emergency Generator, and Fire Alarms
  • Experience working with service providers and vendors
  • Previous work experience with event planning and execution desired
