Job Description

Laughlin Legal, PC seeks an Senior Family Law Paralegal with at least five years of experience in family law. You will be expected to:

• work closely with attorneys to draft pleadings and judicial counsel forms, including petitions, responses, requests for orders, briefs, and declarations;
• propound and respond to discovery, including document and interrogatory requests, requests for admissions, subpoenas, and deposition notices;
• prepare trial binders, coordinate client meetings, file motions, conduct research, coordinate witness testimony;
• perform administrative duties such as answering phones and scheduling client intakes.
• open and close cases in Clio, as well as record your time entries;
• maintain and organize files in DropBox; and
• be experienced using Word, Excel, Dissomaster, Propertizer, and Adobe.

You must have:

• 5 years of experience in Family Law;
• integrity, a positive attitude, and a commitment to serving others;
• excellent writing and time management skills;
• attention to detail and willingness to accept constructive feedback;
• familiarity with Clio & Dropbox;
• an active Notary license;
• ability to come to the office 1-2 times per week; and
• excellent references.

Salary & Benefits:

• $130,000 based on experience + discretionary quarterly bonuses;
