Job Description

Our client is a media company. They seek a Finance Manager to join their Jersey City, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
• Perform flux analysis, account reconciliations, and budget to actual review
• Prepare corporate and subsidiary budgets for forecasting
• Maintain cash flows and customer and vendor relationship management
• Oversee all ERP functions including new subsidiaries and adding accounts
• Run and present financial reports and assist in internal/external audits
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Review and maintain the financial health of the organization

Requirements

• 6+ years of finance/accounting experience
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Media industry background preferred
• International accounting experience preferred
• Revenue recognition knowledge is a plus
• CPA strongly preferred
• Skilled in Excel and NetSuite required
