Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, No Holidays or Weekends

Location: Voorhees, NJ

Setting: Hospital

Duration : 6 month contract to hire, seeking longterm employees

Pay: $17-19/hr

Start Date : June 2025, ASAP.

Must Haves:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of Floor Tech experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with side-by-side stripping, wax scrubbing, bonding, and extracting
• Strong work ethic and positive personality

Day to Day

One of Insight Global’s large healthcare clients is hiring Floor Technicians, also known as Floor Care Technicians, who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the ER, PCU, High-Risk NICU, JRI, Med Surg, and Primary Care within the main hospital alongside other day-shift Floor Techs. They will play a crucial role in keeping floors aesthetically pleasing and free from harmful microorganisms.

Responsibilities:

• : Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• : Use floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other equipment to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.
• : Remove spots from carpets and perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.
• : Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
• : Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums.
• : Wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
• : Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms.
• : Keep an inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance duties.
• : Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• : Assist with hazardous waste collection as requested.
