Job Description

We are looking for a freelance Onboarding Specialist for top media company at their NY offices!

Responsibilities:

Generalized Onboarding Process

1. Gatekeeper reviews pending I-9s for individual freelancers in HelloTiM. I-9 is verified when sufficient documentation is uploaded or sent directly to production. (This step is skipped for loan-outs)
2. The gatekeeper reviews submitted paperwork packets in their entirety. At this step, the W-9 is verified for loan-outs.
3. The gatekeeper sends a packet of paperwork to payroll provider for processing. Paperwork takes approx. 12-24 hours to process and appear in Media Services
4. After time has passed, the gatekeeper checks payroll provider and sees if a freelancer is available to add to production. Add freelancer to production.
5. If loaned out, the LOI must be signed first. Check the LOI status with Paymaster periodically via email or client portal. Once the freelancer signs the LOI, wait 12-24 hours for processing.

Qualifications :

• I-9 Verification and onboarding document review
• Setting up workers in payroll system
• Potential for TA Coordinator duties
