For our quick service restaurant, we are looking to add a welcoming and professional cashier to the team. As the customer's first point of contact, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. This is a busy, high-volume food service environment, and we need someone who can provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include the cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a willingness to be adaptable and take on a variety of tasks, are required of the ideal candidate. Responsibilities

•Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner
•Organize and clean the dining, service, and kitchen areas
•Accept orders from customers, type them into the register, and send them to the kitchen staff
•Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift
•Respond to customer questions and assist them in deciding what to order

Qualifications

•Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential
•Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities
•Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are needed
•Prefer some previous experience working as cashier
•Strong cash register and point of sale system experience are desired
