Position Details:

Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 1-year+ contract

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Do:

Migrate and refactor an existing Flask backend to FastAPI, ensuring best practices are established and well-documented.

Transition the current Flask frontend to a modern JavaScript-based framework (e.g., React or Vue) while implementing clear testing and development guidelines.

Evaluate and enhance the data model, ORM, and CRUD methods for efficiency and maintainability, updating the database as needed.

Establish sustainable development, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.

Support and expand web application functionality based on stakeholder requests and future development roadmaps.

What We're Looking For:Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using modern Python (3.9+) frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Starlite.

Proficiency in creating reusable CRUD operations with an ORM (e.g., SQLAlchemy).

Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript front-end development, including frameworks like React or Vue.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience implementing comprehensive testing, development best practices, and documentation for web applications.

Familiarity with UX/UI design principles to enhance user experience.
