Position Overview:
The Grants Manager works under corporate supervision to oversee and direct the administration of multiple projects and subordinate staff across singular or multiple contracts. This position takes a lead role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position will be supporting the Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration.
Responsibilities:
Works under corporate supervision to oversee and direct the administration of multiple projects and subordinate staff over singular or multiple contracts.
Takes lead role in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and procedures.
Provides a range of managerial duties including setting goals and objectives for projects and staff, establishing performance requirements and standards; and performing fiscal management, such as budget and program cost oversight, as well as management of overall program operations.
Understanding of basic principles such as cost benefit analysis (CBA), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), etc.
Comfortable working with Excel file with multiple tabs
Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert in CBA, NPV and IRR.
Applies professional knowledge using quantitative skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
5 years of relevant experience
Understanding of basic principles such as cost benefit analysis (CBA), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), etc.
U.S. Citizenship required
