Job Description

The Role  

 

We're seeking a talented and motivated senior Sales professional to join us as TwinKnowledge’s first commercial senior executive, where you will lead and scale our go-to-market strategy end-to-end. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy, aligning sales, marketing, implementation, and customer success to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

In this role, you will develop and refine TwinKnowledge’s market positioning, establish scalable sales and marketing processes, and build high-performing teams to accelerate adoption of our platform. You will work closely with leadership to identify new market opportunities, optimize the customer journey, and ensure a strong, data-driven approach to customer acquisition and retention.

This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record of building and optimizing Sales functions in high-growth environments. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and an operator—someone who can develop big-picture strategies while rolling up their sleeves to implement scalable, data-driven processes that drive measurable impact.

What you’ll do  

  • Define and execute TwinKnowledge’s go-to-market strategy, including positioning, segmentation, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Lead and align sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive efficiency and impact.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, pricing strategies, and performance metrics to accelerate revenue and rapid time-to-value
  • Craft compelling narratives and prove out customer value through comprehensive business reviews and strategic touchpoints. 
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion through data-driven marketing and engagement strategies.
  • Establish and iterate departmental customer success metrics, best practices, documentation, and processes that align with the overall customer journey and goals. 
  • Consult regularly with customers to understand their needs and pain points and develop strategies to proactively problem-solve. 
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product-market fit and continuous iteration of value propositions.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution.

 

Qualifications  

  • 7+ years of experience in go-to-market leadership roles, ideally within SaaS, technology, or knowledge-based industries.
  • Previous experience in reporting to CRO, CMO or Chief Customer Success Officer position preferred.
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue, entering new markets, and driving customer adoption.
  • Deep expertise in sales strategy, demand generation, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience leading and growing cross-functional teams in high-growth environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in real estate or AEC industries is a plus, but not required.
  • New York, NY-based, or flexibility to be in New York, NY at minimum quarterly.
