Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement around environmental, health and safety.
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
• Respond to incidents, assist in investigations, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Stay informed about regulatory compliance changes impacting the company. Ensure that the company policies and practices are updated accordingly.
• Provide EHS training and support to employees and helps coordinate other EH&S policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• We are seeking 1-5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Familiarity with environmental, health and safety management systems: ISO 14001, ISO 45001 would be an advantage.
• Compliance auditing and training experience an asset
• Ergonomics skills and experiences would be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communications, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail is required.
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft products.
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification would be an advantage.
