Job Description

Pride Healthcare is assisting a top healthcare organization to identify the right person to fill a Case Health and Wellness Coach opening in Newport Beach, CA .

Responsibilities:

• Assess exercise, health, and wellness goals, with direct coaching sessions monthly.
• Based on a patient’s lab and DNA results, collaborate with the clinical team to provide expert insight and interventions that encompass exercise and movement, dietary recommendations, and mental health strategies.
• Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as necessary to ensure continued success and satisfaction.
• Stay current with the latest developments in exercise, health and wellness practices, incorporating evidence-based techniques into coaching sessions.
• Offer empathetic and motivational support to patients, helping them overcome obstacles and maintain their commitment to well-being.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to conduct coaching sessions, maintain records, and communicate with clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR completion of one of the following training programs: Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Alternative Medicine, Health Sciences, Public Health.
• BLS
• One of the following certifications: NASM-CPT, ACE-CPT, NBC-HWC, Health and Wellness Exercise Coach Certifications offered through universities.

Additional Details:

• Tentative start: 4/28
• 3 month assignment with possible extension.
• TTH opportunity if a good fit.
• Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
• Candidates MUST be a Registered Dietician
• Travel pay: $1360 weekly gross = $720 weekly taxable + $640 weekly tax-free stipends.
• Local pay: $30-32/hour
