HVAC Foreman

SUMMARY

The HVAC Foreman supervises and leads the HVAC Technician team members during all phases of construction activities. The HVAC Foreman ensures work is completed within budget and scheduled completion dates. Also, the Foreman will follow all applicable safety procedures and code requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to a team of technicians and apprentices; assigning tasks, providing guidance on new construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time
• Interpret and execute blueprints, plans, and specifications to meet project requirements
• Schedule and coordinate daily tasks, materials, and manpower to meet project milestones
• Perform quality sheet metal installation for commercial new construction Projects such as: schools, hospitals, multi-story buildings, colleges, etc.
• Coordinate with other departments/organizations to maintain established timelines
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations
• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, timekeeping, and change orders
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues during the construction process

Basic qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a foreman in commercial new construction HVAC/Mechanical systems
• 5+ years of experience in installation of all Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems, piping, and equipment
• TDLR Certification
• OSHA certification
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications
• Experience managing rough-in, and finish-out phases
• Ability to run work and manage crews to set the pace of the project to outperform project schedule and minimize the budget impact and durations onsite
