HR Coordinator

We are excited to share a new opportunity! PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a top employer in Fort Myers to find their HR Coordinator.

We are seeking a qualified and resourceful human resources coordinator to support their department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The human resources coordinator will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will help with essential functions such as staffing, training, and development.

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $24-$25/Hr. DOE
Location: Fort Myers
Experience: 2-3 years

HR Coordinator Job Responsibilities

  • Sourcing candidates, performing background checks, and assisting with shortlisting and issuing employment contracts
  • Scheduling training programs, coordinating company - wide training efforts, and overseeing new employee onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws and update policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Acts as the primary backup to the Corporate Recruiter to help ensure all hiring needs are met.
  • Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in employee engagement activities.
  • Administrate all I-9 compliance.
  • Experience using Paycom
  • Other duties assigned.
