The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors . This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors’ practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.

Job Summary:

The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and working closely with management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas of training and compliance. The HR Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of communication materials and programs that enhance and promote our department and employee needs. The individual in this role will be the gatekeeper of all compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Compliance

  • Coordination of all training program requirements ( Harassment, Diversity, HIPAA, OSHA & Confidentiality Agreement, Chaperone training )
  • Coordination of annual health assessments for all JCAHO mix use areas
  • Compliance of all annual employment requirements (Annual Compliance for Article 28 and Annual Health Assessments for PPD – Clinical Staff) – Liaison with WHS
  • Ensure all annual required training compliance (OSHA, Harassment, HIPAA etc.)
  • Create compliance dept. update reports for annual OSHA training (clinical Staff)
  • Coordinate and monitor communication bulletins and/or compliance acknowledgement through the ADP Employee Self Service Portal / Step module
  • Weekly New Hire file to POD for training curriculum Dashboard updates
  • Submittal of Monthly employee roster to Rev Cycle training group
  • Track compliance for POD Training curriculum
  • Send Performance review communications and track compliance with fiscal year deadline
  • Ensure coordination and upload of annual performance review rating into ADP EV6
  • Troubleshoot and assist Managers with Performance Review website tool as necessary
  • Track all licensure and certification to ensure compliance, send out all reminder notifications on upcoming needed renewals. Ensure upload to GRM document management system
  • Generate compliance reports quarterly from ADP system to ensure compliance
  • Present compliance metrics at designated meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Special HR projects as assigned

Skills:

  • Strong communication & customer service skills are a must with comfortability in public speaking
  • A strong focus on attention to detail is essential
  • Conceptual thinker with excellent organizational and conflict management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and ADP Reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
  • Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects
  • Must maintain a high level of discretion
  • Conforms to all applicable HIPAA, Billing compliance and safety guidelines
  • Previous project management experience preferred

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree or the equivalent in education, training, and experience

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years related working experience
  • Must possess considerable knowledge of HR policies, principles, and procedures
