**Position: Independent Travel Advisor**

**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Independent Travel Advisor, you will cater to both business and leisure travelers. Your primary duties will include:
- Selling international and domestic travel options, including hotel stays, flights, cruises, rental cars, and tour packages.
- Building customized travel itineraries while utilizing your knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and education.
- Developing long-lasting relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
**Remote Work Flexibility:**
This position is largely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. While remote work is a primary feature of the role, you will be required to attend some annual conferences and mandatory weekly updates, training sessions, and sales meetings via video calls. We also encourage informal regional gatherings for team members, which are optional but highly beneficial for team bonding.

**Required and Preferred Skills:**
- A college degree is required (preferably in business, hospitality, or marketing).
- Candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or retail banking.
- Availability for irregular hours and some evenings is required to support clients.
- You will work from home but must maintain regular business hours.
- A strong drive for sales and a desire to exceed goals is essential.
- Proficiency in using computers, navigating multiple systems and web browsers, and working with Microsoft Office applications (typing speed of at least 30 WPM).
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong comfort level in managing paperwork.
